The detox program at our addiction treatment center typically lasts five days, while clients in our rehab program usually remain in treatment for an average of 18 days. During their time in treatment, men may receive the following services depending on their needs:
- Medication management – Medication management services are only offered for men in our rehab program. Clients meet at least once with a licensed practical nurse, a registered nurse, a certified registered nurse practitioner, or a physician to receive an evaluation of their possible medication needs. If a client does need medication, these team members will have follow-up meetings with them as needed.
- Individual therapy – Individual therapy sessions are provided by certified or licensed counselors, and men meet with them at least once each week in the rehab program. Additional sessions can be added when needed. If a client is in detox, they only have individual therapy sessions for crisis intervention if it’s necessary.
- Family therapy – Family therapy is not offered for men who are in detox, but clients in the rehab program at our addiction treatment center can request to have family counseling sessions.
- Group therapy – Group therapy is the main service offered in our rehab program. Clients can attend small group counseling sessions six times per week and are encouraged to attend as many sessions as they are able to.
Life-Changing Addiction Treatment
The programming we offer at our addiction treatment center in York, Pennsylvania, is designed to be person-centered, all-inclusive, and evidence-based. It can also provide men with an added sense of comfort and allow them to feel more open to vulnerability when they are surrounded by other males as opposed to having women in their groups too.
