Adolescent Services

Inpatient Non-Hospital Detoxification

Detoxification can be the first step on the road to recovery. Our inpatient non-hospital detox programs allow you the time needed to devote to reducing withdrawal symptoms. Detoxification staff is made up of seasoned professionals including but not limited to Physicians, RN’s, LPN’s, and PA’s who are all trained I the complexity of the withdrawal of substances.

Inpatient Residential CD Rehabilitation

This program is specifically geared toward adolescents between the ages of twelve and seventeen who have been determined clinically appropriate for inpatient substance abuse treatment. Each adolescent will be treated as an individual, receiving treatment plans tailored to their specific needs.

The program will strive to incorporate various resources in the client’s treatment, including, but not limited to the following: juvenile probation, children and youth, OVR, school and recreational facilities. On site educational services are provided as well.

Mental Health Residential Treatment Program

Each acute Mental Health Residential Treatment Facility for Adolescents (RTF) provides intensive inpatient services to adolescents with serious emotional disturbances, mental illness and acute behavioral disorders. The purpose of the Mental Health Program for Adolescents is to achieve stabilization of the primary diagnosis while maintaining a level of functioning, which enables the adolescent to return to live safely in a community setting.

Individualized treatment plans are jointly developed by the internal treatment team in concert with the community-based agencies.

Outpatient Individual, Group and Family Therapy

Outpatient Individual Therapy
Traditional one on one hourly counseling focuses on issues such as family of interpersonal relationships, stress, anxiety and other emotional concerns in conjunction with chemical dependency.

Outpatient Group Therapy
Weekly group therapy focuses on strategies for maintaining a sober, healthy lifestyle and developing a supportive external environment for recovery. This group also assists in identifying and resolving emotional/behavioral issues that could lead to relapse. Clients may continue with aftercare following treatment.

Outpatient Family Therapy
This program provides the family with education and support regarding the disease of chemical dependency. We believe that families become ill when one or more members are chemically dependent and that the illness will progress without treatment. The program’s goal is to offer awareness and alternatives to the frustration and confusion that results from the disease of chemical dependency.

Intensive Outpatient Program

Separate and distinct from the adult program, the highly structured adolescent program meets the special treatment needs of the chemically dependent or chemically abusive adolescent by offering:

  • Structured groups
  • Individualized and family therapy
  • NA/AA 12-Step
  • Treatment planning coordinated with appropriate referral sources (i.e., parents, school counselors, probation)

  • CD Assessment

CD assessments are done for adults to determine what level of care is most appropriate for the individual.

Referrals can be made by the individual seeking treatment, business and industry, hospitals, etc.
